ALAN

With over three decades of experience in the New Zealand real estate industry, Alan Lethbridge has built a reputation as a trusted trainer, auctioneer, and mentor for agents across the country.

Alan began his career in 1989, gaining his real estate licence after graduating from Otago University. By 1991, he was a qualified Auctioneer, and two years later, in 1993, he became a certified Personal Development Coach. In 1995, he achieved his Branch Manager qualification and, by 1997, became an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (AREINZ).

Over the years, Alan has worked extensively across residential, rural, commercial, and property management, giving him a unique depth of understanding of the challenges and opportunities agents face every day.

In 2019, Alan became an approved REA Verifiable Training Provider, delivering compulsory CPD training nationwide. His sessions stand out because they go beyond compliance. Alan makes CPD enjoyable, practical, and memorable, using methods such as spaced repetition and real-world case studies to ensure agents leave with knowledge they can immediately apply.

Today, Alan continues to lead engaging, in-person training sessions backed by comprehensive printed or PDF materials and his signature Super Summaries — ensuring agents not only meet their obligations but also strengthen their skills, confidence, and career opportunities.

In 2023, Alan’s leadership and expertise were further recognised when he was appointed to the Real Estate Authority Complaints Assessment Committee, where he contributes to maintaining integrity and professionalism within the industry.
